Fdl add Electric Vehicles to its fleet

Fdl have just taken delivery of its first Renault Kangoo Z.E. ML20 i 33 Business, which will soon be used by the team on our ongoing contracts around Staffordshire, Worcester, and the West Midlands. This is part of our target of zero related carbon emissions by 2030. These vans have a range of 125 miles and will operate out of Fdl’s Head Office in Staffordshire. Onsite charging facilities will allow them to charge overnight, ready for work the next day.

Mick Barrett, Operations Director at Fdl, said:

Bringing down emissions from commercial vehicles is crucial if we want to make a difference to air quality and the environment.

Recent enhancements in battery life and load capacity have made the use of electric vehicles in urban areas a reality. We’re committed to extending the roll-out over the next year.
