FDL have designed, built, and opened an in-house training centre at our head office in Stafford. The 1000 square foot training facility is equipped with 2 demonstration level access shower rooms, demonstration cap and cove flooring installation and access equipment.
At FDL we are committed to training and developing our employees to ensure that as well as ensuring every member of our team has the skills, knowledge, and experience to deliver the standards expected by FDL, but also to ensure they are continually growing their own careers.
Continuous and consistent training is what keeps Fdl and our team ahead of the competition. As such, we invest heavily in providing the resources, tools, and time that our teams need to provide great service to our customers time and time again.
As part of our ISO9001 certification, every Fdl employee is required to complete three training classes per year. Employees in customer-facing positions complete an average of 50-60 hours of training annually, while employees in other positions complete an average of 25-30 hours each year.
All Fdl team members will be trained in our state-of-the-are Centre. New teams are required to participate in weeklong classes (40 hours of hands-on learning) that are tailored to the specific of the role which they have been hired. All new team members learn our customer service skills to ensure each of our customers have a fantastic experience with us.
